Bearcats Beyond the Bell, Spring 2026

From superpowers to sparks, spring semester is action-packed!

Bearcats light up science, creativity, and imagination through two back-to-back adventures!

ElectroLab, then Pikachu's Playground
(for Annetta (Mondays), Coder  (Tues.), McCall (Wed.) , & Stuard (Thurs.)

<keep scrolling for other schools>

  • First, with ElectroLab, students spark curiosity by exploring circuits, lights, and buzzers, discovering how electricity flows and ideas connect.

  • Then, in mid March, they’ll use their new superpowers in Pikachu’s Playground, where kids can trade cards (optional), play trivia, and join creative Pokémon-inspired games that mix fun, teamwork, and discovery, like interesting facts about the continents.

(We apologize for Pikachu’s recent interruption of the football game; he got confused about which playground was his. It was a long trip from Japan!)

Two clubs, one electrifying semester. Only 24 spots available!

📅 Begins week of Jan. 7th  and continues through week of May 14th

🕒 3:10–4:20 PM in the library. K-5th, broken into a younger and an older group.

💲325 to $395 for the full semester (spring semester is longer than fall)
(Annetta meets only 13 times due to many Monday closures, Coder 17 times, McCall and Stuard 18 times. All schools are charged per session, and we’ve discounted the rate to keep it under $400 for all families.)

Pikachu’s Playground, then ElectroLab
(for Vandagriff (Tues.), McKinney (Wed.), and Walsh (Thurs.)

  • They’ll start by discovering their inner hero in Pikachu’s Playground, where every week brings something new—trading (if they’d like), games, trivia, and creative Pokémon adventures that spark imagination and confidence (also geographical and scientific knowledge). We apologize for Pikachu’s recent interruption of the football game; he got confused about which playground was his. It was a long trip from Japan!

  • Then, in March, they’ll take that energy into ElectroLab, where bright ideas become real as Bearcats connect circuits, light bulbs, and buzzers that truly shine.
