Operating Hours

Pierce Institute will be closed on Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas, New Year's Eve Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, and Independence Day.

Beginning August 12th, 2024, we are on SCHOOL YEAR SCHEDULE:

M-Th: 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Fridays 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm,
Saturdays 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, Sundays by special appointment

(Most see us in-person, but virtual classes are always an option,
and are the preference for Sundays.)

PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT closed every time FWISD is closed -- we are OPEN on Columbus Day, many days during the holiday breaks, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Good Friday.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY - If FWISD is closed, Pierce Institute is closed.  There may be days when Pierce Institute is closed even though FWISD is open because most of our employees drive in from a distance.
